Surgical Technologist
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in a dynamic inpatient setting. The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, and providing support to the surgical team. This role includes floating to an outpatient Same Day Surgery center as needed.
Essential Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and other medical personnel during surgeries.
- Manage surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring they are properly sterilized and ready for use.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to identify and resolve issues that may arise during procedures.
- Participate in maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
Qualifications
- One (1) year of recent hospital experience as a Surgical Technologist or graduation from an accredited Operation Room Technician course.
- Current BLS/BCLS certification is required.
Shift Information
This position requires working 10-hour shifts with varied schedules, which may include weekends and holidays.
Holiday Coverage
Holiday coverage is required for this position.
