CT Technologist - Weekend Option

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostics. They operate imaging equipment independently, adhering to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure (ALARA), and maintain equipment and rooms per infection control standards. Responsibilities Responsibilities include obtaining clinical history, explaining procedures using AIDET, positioning patients correctly, administering contrast when needed, reviewing images for diagnostic quality, and documenting studies accurately in RIS/PACS systems. They must respond to patient needs, monitor conditions, and support department workflow. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least 1 year of radiology experience, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and BLS certification. Skills technical proficiency in imaging, patient communication, infection control, attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
