Operations Technician II Wave Clerk

Ryder is immediately hiring for a Permanent Operations Technician II Wave Clerk in Bolingbrook, Illinois. Warehouse positions pay weekly.

Hourly Pay: $20.50 per hour. Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour shift differential when working mid shift. Schedule: MID Shift - Monday-Friday 11:00 am - 7:30 pm.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years warehouse experience
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel) Working knowledge of WMS systems
• Forklift experience
• Equipment certification may be required, depending on location

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting standard facility key performance indicators (KPI) which consistently meet/exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules
• Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and updating load statuses
• Work closely with operations supervisor to ensure the work load is being distributed properly and evenly by managing WMS down to the floor
• Work closely with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve and problems with the day's orders
• Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates
• Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
