Job Summary

Combustion Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial combustion and boiler systems. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and experience servicing burners, boilers, combustion controls, and related industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial combustion equipment.
  • Service boilers, burners, combustion control systems, and related mechanical equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service calls.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using testing equipment.
  • Calibrate combustion systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Complete service reports and maintenance documentation.
  • Communicate with customers regarding repairs and maintenance recommendations.
  • Follow OSHA and company safety procedures.
  • Travel to customer sites as required.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of industrial service technician experience.
  • Experience with:
    • Industrial Boilers
    • Burners
    • Combustion Systems
    • Gas & Oil Fired Equipment
    • Combustion Controls
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Cleaver-Brooks, Power Flame, Webster, Gordon-Piatt, Maxon, Eclipse, or Honeywell combustion equipment.
  • Knowledge of PLC controls and industrial automation.
  • Experience with combustion analyzers and burner tuning.
  • HVAC or boiler service background is a plus.
