Driving university owned vehicles to job sites will be required for this position. Maintain acceptable driver rating as established in Policy UTS157.Reads schematic diagrams to install telecommunication wires and equipment.Maintains physical and online data records on Pinnacle and other databases.Perform other related functions as assigned.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.1 year of experience installing telecommunications horizontal cabling.Experience using Microsoft windows software, basic computer skills.Class "c" driver's license.Preferred Qualifications3 or more years' experience installing horizontal telecommunications cabling.Experience installing wireless access points.Experience in a telecommunications or construction field working at the University of Texas at Austin.Driving RequiredThis job requires a class "C" operator's driver's license. The applicant selected must provide a current three-year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident.
