Senior Sourcing Specialist

Our client, a Financial Services, is looking to hire a Professional Services Sourcing Specialist in New York, NY.Make sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.Salary: $100,000 - $120,000Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage RFP, RFI, and RFQ processes, including requirements development and supplier evaluation criteria.Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts with professional services suppliers.Analyze spend, pricing, market trends, and supplier data to identify cost-saving opportunities.Develop and implement cost reduction and cost avoidance strategiesPartner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop appropriate sourcing strategies.Manage sourcing pipelines, savings tracking, supplier optimization, and contract managementReview existing sourcing processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiencyPrepare and present sourcing strategies, savings opportunities, and recommendations to leadership.Required Qualifications3–5 years of experience in Professional Services Sourcing, Strategic Sourcing, or a related procurement function.Hands-on experience with SOW, contracts, T&M, and/or outsourced managed servicesStrong experience managing RFP/RFI/RFQ processes and supplier negotiationsDemonstrated experience delivering cost savings and/or cost avoidanceStrong spend analysis, financial modeling, and reporting skills.Ability to partner effectively with internal stakeholders and influence purchasing decisions.Financial services experience preferredExperience with Ariba, Fieldglass, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Business Objects, or similar tools is a plus.Russell Tobin offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
