GENERAL FUNCTION - The operation of a Flexographic printing press. The operator will possess a combination of knowledge, skill, and abilities to carry out work activities related to the operation of the flexographic printing press. SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

• Set up, adjust, maintain and operate a Mark Andy 16" - 20" flexographic press
• Installs Anilox rollers, plates, inks and dies into proper stations, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality of production
• Notifies Supervision of needed repairs and replacement parts
• Ensures that assigned equipment is properly maintained and in safe operating condition
• Understands all the documents related to the printing process and adheres to specification requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS Minimum - High School Diploma or GED & gave basic computer skills. Best candidates would have AT LEAST 1-3 years *FLEXO PRINTING* related experience with ability to write and read simple instructions. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions & procedure manuals. Must be able to meet and/or pass the minimum requirement on a mechanical test or have demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience. Should be able to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Must be able to maintain good attendance and flexible and willing to work overtime, as needed. Must be able to lift to 50 pounds During the shift Press Operators will be bending and twisting while moving the product from workstation to pallet Press Operators may need to use manual or electric pallets jacks to move skids of products. This will require pushing and pulling
