RAYUS Radiology is looking for a full‑time Radiologic Technologist to join our team. You will be responsible for operating assigned scanners to produce diagnostic images of patients. Responsibilities Screen patients before exams for precautions or contradictions, ensuring correct patient identification and procedure. Explain and prepare patients for radiologic imaging procedures, positioning them for optimal imaging. Perform routine and advanced radiologic imaging procedures with minimal supervision, providing support and communication throughout. Adjust radiologic scan parameters and utilize dose reduction techniques as needed. Maintain positive working relationships with radiologists, referring clinicians, and teammates. Follow physicians’ orders and safety regulations to protect patients, coworkers, and yourself. Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS). Keep the work area orderly and clean, promoting safety for patients and coworkers. Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements. Maintain equipment in good working order, cleaning and disinfecting after each use. Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines. Operate a Fluoroscopy C‑Arm in surgical and outpatient procedures. Department Support Assist with updating imaging protocol manuals and software upgrades. Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary. Provide training to new team members, offering resources and technical expertise. Additional Tasks Complete other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography. Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state, if required. Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification. Sufficient training and experience to competently perform radiologic procedures independently. Preferred: Bilingual.
