Qualifications:

• Valid CO DOE Teacher license with Special Education Generalist (5-21) endorsement
• Experience with mild to severe disabilities required; autism and cognitive disability experience preferred
• Background in ABA, CPI, behavioral strategies, or Denver Model strongly desired
• Demonstrated leadership with paraprofessionals is a plus
• Experience with self-contained, affective needs, or structured learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction to elementary-aged students
• Liaise with speech/OT/psych professionals and lead a small paraprofessional team
• Implement behavioral interventions; use de-escalation techniques as needed
• Complete district-specific credentialing requirements before start
