Sentara Health is hiring for an RN to work at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital on the Same Day Surgery Unit.
Generous Sign On Bonus up to 15K for Qualified Candidates!
Hours/Shift:
Full-time, 36/40 hours per week, Days! Hours of operation: 5:00am - 7:30pm. 8 or 9 -hour shifts, no weekends/holidays. Limited call discussed at time of interview.
Requirements:
Minimum 2yrs acute or critical care experience required .
valid RN license in good standing.
ADN required, BSN or higher preferred.
Department/Position Overview:
We are currently seeking nurses with a minimum of 2-years acute or critical care experience for our 20 bed Same Day Surgery Unit.
Job Description:
As a Registered Nurse with Sentara, you can excel in your career. There are many different specialties where you can perform and grow your nursing skills in areas of interest to you. This position's primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital , located in Virginia Beach, VA, is home to the region's only Level III Trauma Center. Our 273-bed facility has a long history of commitment to our communities of Virginia Beach, Eastern Shore, and Northeastern North Carolina, offering specialized tertiary services as well as many advanced clinical services. We are located just 15 minutes from VA Beach Town Center and just a few minutes to the Oceanfront.
As a recognized accredited Primary Stroke Center, and Magnet hospital for nursing excellence, our hospital specializes in heart, vascular, neuroscience, neurosurgery, orthopedics and spine care, cancer care, advanced imaging, and behavioral health.
