Greet and assist customers, providing information about products and the Amazon Just Walk Out technology. Ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and items are in the correct location. Ensure all menu items and pricing are accurate. May prepare, cook, or assemble food items, such as sandwiches and salads, and wrap or place orders in containers for carry‑out. Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues related to the Amazon Just Walk Out system. Open and serve all alcoholic beverages as required. Maintains clean work areas and tools/equipment. Provides quality customer service while ensuring compliance with policies and standards. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations. Maintains positive working relationships with customers and coworkers. Observes all safety and Company rules and regulations in the performance of duties. Must comply with and ensure continued, consistent compliance with all company policies, and federal, state, and local laws/regulations including but not limited to employment, safety, and health. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED, related experience or equivalent. Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. Food Handler Certificate from County of San Diego preferred. For alcohol service, 21 years or older and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification. Minimum Qualifications Language Skills: Must read, write, and understand English. Follow verbal and written instructions. Mathematical Skills: Basic math, counting, add, subtract, multiply, divide. Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense to carry out general written or oral instruction. Manual Dexterity: Use equipment and utensils. Physical Communication: Talk, express, hear, professional appearance. Physical Demands: Operate cash registers. Stand for prolonged hours, handle objects, occasionally walk/move. Lift or carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds. Working Conditions and Hazards Work performed in food production area with frequent exposure to food fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, humid and hot conditions, and cleaning chemicals. May work outdoors with varying weather conditions, dust, allergens, and temperature changes. Noise level moderate on non‑event days and moderate to loud on event days. Background Check Information Background checks conducted after a conditional offer of employment is extended and accepted. Includes verification of education and employment histories, criminal records, national sex offender registry, references, and possibly credit reports, motor vehicle reports, and professional license verification.
