Senior Java Full Stack Developer

Job Description Job Title: Senior Java Full Stack Developer - W2 Location: Hybrid in McLean or RVA (Remote - EST preferred) Duration: 12-month contract Job Summary We are seeking experienced Senior and Mid-level Java Developers to join our Card Tech team. The role involves recovering activities for accounts in the recovery stages, modernizing existing software, implementing contingency strategies, and managing software dealing with transactions. The position also requires expertise in Java, Springboot, AWS, microservices, Kafka messages, and batch jobs. The ideal candidates will collaborate with Agile teams, design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions, and stay updated with tech trends. Interview Process 1. 45-minute video interview Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree 2+ years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply) Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js 1+ years of experience working with site reliability engineering 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service 2+ years of experience in open source frameworks 2+ years of experience in Agile practices About eTek IT eTek IT Information Technology offers a dynamic work environment where employees have the opportunity to impact the company and clients positively.
