Production Worker / Sheet Metal Worker

Job Description Job Description JOB SUMMARY : Works with a variety of sheet metal production equipment. Fabricates sheet metal material per drawings to specific job orders. JOB DUTIES: Operates tools to assemble sheet metal accurately. Accurately reads a tape measure to assembly material correctly. Interprets drawings to assemble material correctly. Is a team player, and performs other duties as assigned. SKILLS: Ability to accurately read a tape measure (required; a test will be given) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (required) Ability to read and interpret drawings Basic math skills Knowledge of basic hand tools Knowledge and understanding of metal types and gauging EXPERIENCE: Sheet metal or construction background (preferred) OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must be willing to work overtime, including Saturdays, if needed.
