Shipping and Receiving Clerk
JOB HOURS:
- 8:00am-4:30pm shift, Mon-Fri.
- Flexible to work extended hours as needed
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive incoming items
- Incoming inspection for shipping damage, incorrect items or wrong quantities. Alert Purchasing of any discrepancies
- Stamp the packing list on the date received
- Record receipts in ERP system
- Distribute items to their proper storage locations after they have been received by Purchasing
- Break down and recycle cardboard boxes
- Wrap and package assemblies in a safe and secure manner for shipping
- Verify quantities and include any applicable documents on outgoing shipments
- Record customer shipments in ERP system
- Generate shipping labels for each shipment in shipping portals
- Coordinate pick-ups with delivery services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years of experience.
- U. S. citizenship required.
PHYSICAL ASPECTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
