Nurse Practitioner

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide primary care services including acute, chronic, and preventive care to patients across all age groups in accordance with clinical protocols and licensure.
• Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic illnesses, minor trauma, and episodic health concerns.
• Perform minor surgical procedures and initiate life-saving interventions during emergencies.
• Plan and order diagnostic tests as necessary for patient care.
• Evaluate diagnostic results and consult with supervising physicians when appropriate.
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory and clinical guidelines.
• Refer complex or high-risk cases to physicians for further evaluation and management.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records in accordance with practice standards.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to medical, nursing, or allied health students when assigned.
• Coordinate referrals and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Provide patient counseling on health conditions, treatment plans, rights, and responsibilities.
• Support administrative functions such as documentation, data entry, and reporting.
• Manage and monitor medical supplies and resources to ensure compliance with policies.
• Adhere strictly to patient confidentiality and privacy regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority (state-agnostic).
• 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience preferred (newly licensed candidates are encouraged to apply).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
