Job Description The Environmental Compliance Manager will take ownership of environmental compliance operations across the United States, with ambitions for expansion. This position emphasizes leadership and the nurturing of a positive workplace culture rather than subject matter expertise. The role involves guiding a team of four direct reports within a larger team of approximately 30 members, significantly contributing to staff development and compliance efforts. Key Responsibilities Ensure daily adherence to environmental regulations across multiple states while managing compliance interactions. Oversee a compliance management team focusing on about nine to ten states, ensuring coordinated operations. Facilitate connections across various operational areas within the compliance framework while cultivating partnerships with vendors. Champion team leadership and foster personnel development within the compliance division. Requirements Demonstrated expertise in environmental compliance management, ideally within a retail or convenience store setting. Robust leadership capabilities, emphasizing team growth and enhancement of workplace culture. Proficiency in navigating intricate regulatory environments across various states. Excellent communication skills suitable for engaging a wide array of stakeholders. Prior experience in the convenience store or retail industry is highly preferred.
