Job Description

Design and set up manufacturing processes to support new product development, focusing on material selection and evaluation. Enhance manufacturing capabilities to maintain a competitive advantage and support existing processes through problem-solving, optimization, and upgrading. Investigate and recommend acquisition of new equipment while performing root cause analysis, applying corrective action, and documenting quality issues. Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and control plans, collaborating with technicians and operators for equipment setup and training. Conduct process validation, equipment qualification, and facilitate prototyping and experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement manufacturing processes to support new product development.
• Enhance and optimize existing manufacturing capabilities.
• Solve problems and upgrade existing manufacturing processes.
• Investigate and recommend new equipment acquisitions.
• Perform root cause analysis and apply corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and control plans.
• Collaborate with technicians and operators for equipment setup and training.
• Conduct process validation and equipment qualification.
• Gather manufacturing data and perform production yield analysis.
• Facilitate prototyping and experimentation.
• Support and contribute to Six Sigma, ISO, and EH&S Management Systems.

• BA in Engineering.
• 3-5 years of screen printing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in process engineering, development projects, and roll forming.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and work instruction development.
• Expertise in material selection and prototype development.
• Experience with SolidWorks and screen printing processes.

• Experience in electronics, printed circuits, or roll-to-roll manufacturing.
• Experience in material converting and/or product assembly.
• Strong mechanical and process aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with engineering and office tools like Excel and CAD.
• Growth mindset to challenge the status quo and find new paths.
• Experience with data analysis tools and report writing.

This role is based in a clean laboratory environment. The position offers growth opportunities, a variable individual bonus structure, and the opportunity to work within a large company. The candidate should be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks and actively engaging on the plant floor.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Aurora, IL.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Aurora,IL.

This position is anticipated to close on Jul 3, 2026.
