Occupational Therapy AssistantDescription of the role:As an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Neulife Rehabilitation of Louisiana, you will work closely with licensed occupational therapists to provide direct patient care. Your main responsibilities will include implementing treatment plans, conducting therapeutic activities, and monitoring patient progress.Responsibilities:Assist in evaluating patient conditions and treatment needsImplement treatment plans under the supervision of licensed occupational therapistsConduct therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' motor skills and mobilityAssist patients with daily activities and exercisesDocument patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising therapistMaintain a clean and organized therapy areaRequirements:Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant programValid Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of LouisianaExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsBenefits:Competitive compensation: $27 - $35 per hourMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan with company matchPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional development and advancementAbout Neulife Rehabilitation:Neulife Rehabilitation is a leading provider of comprehensive rehabilitation services in Hammond, Louisiana.
