Executive Consultant

Position Overview We are looking for an experienced IT professional within an application delivery team focused on the design, development and implementation within SAP CAR to process sales and business transactional data from a new Point of Sale technology solution. The ideal candidate excels at solution design, techno functional specification writing, and complex problem solving for the SAP CAR module, specifically webservices to parse data and custom loader programs to consume data into POSDTA. The ideal candidate is focused on delivering with speed, accuracy, and making a positive impact on strategic projects within the company. Responsibilities Demonstrate subject matter expertise in SAP CAR and integrating with other SAP modules and non-SAP solutions. Knowledgeable in the technology supporting multiple business functions or supporting technologies. Designs, configures, tests, debugs, documents, and collaborates with product development teams on packaged and custom software solutions. Author documentation such as techno functional specifications ensuring all details of designed solution including integrations, dependencies, configuration, mapping, test cases and business process rules are included to support a new Stores Point of Sale (POS) effort and the larger SAP roadmap plan. Works closely with BASIS, external consultants, cross‑functional technology associates and business partners to support the new POS project implementation and future implementations including SAP S/4. Responsible for the full systems development lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation of various functional architecture solutions. Develop, prototype, test and implement solution improvements to increase stability, usability and functionality to enable end users to meet business objectives. Research and analyze complex issues surrounding business processes & technology. Support the identification of enhancement opportunities to improve processes and system configuration that supports a customer‑focused approach while ensuring compliance with business management goals and objectives. Perform other duties as necessary. Here’s what an ordinary day might look like With the initial focus on delivering a Stores POS pilot solution in SAP CAR, a day in the life will span responsibilities focused on problem solving, researching the existing custom programs while authoring techno functional specifications to support the build effort. Responsibilities include collaborating with key partners, aiding in the execution of smoke, functional, and integration testing through consultation on defect resolution and redesign where necessary. Once the POS Pilot is achieved, a day in the life will shift to a roll‑out of the long‑term SAP CAR solution for the balance of the stores and S/4 upgrade. #J-18808-Ljbffr Bayone
