need 2 sup refs from modality submitting to (charge accepted) at submittal; 1 w/in 12 mo. & 1 w/in 3 years worked

Copy of the DL is needed at time of submittal to validate legal name - Pulse must reflect the name on a gov't issued ID - no middle initial or middle name

Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.

***PRIOR TO SIGNING, THE DYSRHYTHMIA EXAM THROUGH Relias IS REQUIRED TO BE SENT ALONG WITH ACCEPTANCE. THIS MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 24-48 HRS. PLEASE NOTE IT'S PASS OR FAIL AND THEY GET TWO ATTEMPTS (TEST A SHOULD BE ASSIGNED FIRST AND IF NOT PASSED, TEST B SHOULD BE ASSIGNED FOR THE RETAKE). A SCREENSHOT SHOWING THE NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS IS ALSO REQUIRED. YOU'LL NEED TO SET YOUR TRAVELER UP FOR THIS EXAM IMMEDIATELY.

- Unit: ICU
- # beds: 8 beds
- Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS. 2 years ICU experience.
- Ratios: 1:1-2
- EMR: Cerner
- Charge Nurse: Yes, generally does not take patients, but will do break relief.
- Nurse Aides: None in ICU
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holidays: Rotate in with core staff
- Scrub Color: Navy - under shirts must be navy, white, or black. Scrub jackets are optional, must be navy.
- Tele: Yes, must be able to read and interpret EKG strips.
- Vents: Yes. Gallileo and G5s.
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: No. Utilize Telemed robot.
- IV Team : No
- RT 24/7: Yes
- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
- Shifts: 12 hr shifts. 7 - 730. Report is at the bedside. OT and extra shifts are available. Self-scheduling is used, but is not finalized until Manager balances it. Schedules are out 4 weeks. Travelers can access their schedules from home and make themselves "available" for extra shifts and make trades with other staff. Block scheduling is generally not available.
- They may be placed on-call if not needed in the department. I
- Floating: All other Sacramento facilities.
- Floor specific orientation: 1 - 2 days on the floor with preceptor.
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: General medical / surgical population. Stable CVA post TPA, resp failure, manual proning, COPD, CHF, DKA. No CABG or Neuro surgery.
