Role Summary

The Senior Business Process & Delivery Analyst will serve as the operational backbone for Commercial Data Operations (CDO) demand intake, initiative tracking, and delivery governance.

The role will translate strategic direction into disciplined day-to-day execution by administering Azure DevOps Boards, coordinating cross-functional work, maintaining high-quality project data, developing standard operating procedures, producing actionable reporting, and identifying opportunities to simplify or automate processes while protecting business value.

Key Responsibilities Azure DevOps Boards Administration & Work Management

• Administer and maintain Azure DevOps Boards for CDO intake, strategic initiatives, projects, and operational work.

• Configure Epics, Features, User Stories, Tasks, custom work items, fields, states, rules, templates, area paths, iteration paths, queries, dashboards, and team views.

• Maintain work-item hierarchy, traceability, ownership, dependencies, risks, decisions, milestones, and status information.

• Perform board hygiene, data-quality checks, backlog reviews, aging analysis, and follow-up with work owners.

• Promote consistent naming, classification, estimation, prioritization, and closure standards.

Agile Delivery & Project Coordination

• Apply Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery practices based on initiative requirements.

• Coordinate backlog refinement, sprint/delivery planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and action follow-up.

• Track deliverables, milestones, blockers, cross-team dependencies, approvals, and decisions through completion.

• Prepare status updates, portfolio summaries, RAID logs, decision logs, and leadership materials.

• Support initiative owners with planning, sequencing, capacity visibility, and delivery-risk escalation.

Intake, Triage & Portfolio Governance

• Manage and continuously improve the centralized CDO intake process from request capture through triage, assignment, prioritization, delivery, and closure.

• Review requests for completeness, clarify business needs and expected value, and coordinate routing across DMO, Data Governance, MDM, Reporting, Data Fluency, and relevant partners.

• Maintain intake taxonomies, required fields, service expectations, governance cadence, ownership models, and decision criteria.

• Provide visibility into demand, pipeline, backlog, workload, throughput, aging, and portfolio health.

• Support meeting preparation, facilitation, documentation, decision tracking, and follow-through.

Process Development, SOPs & Documentation

• Develop and maintain SOPs, process maps, RACI matrices, playbooks, operating procedures, templates, user guides, governance standards, and training materials.

• Document current-state and future-state workflows, business rules, handoffs, controls, exceptions, and escalation paths.

• Create reusable documentation to support adoption and sustainment of new processes.

• Maintain a centralized source of truth with version control, ownership, review dates, and change history.

• Apply continuous-improvement and Lean principles to reduce ambiguity, duplication, rework, and administrative effort.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Change Enablement

• Build strong relationships across technical, data, business, governance, and leadership teams.

• Facilitate productive discussions, clarify ownership, and resolve cross-team constraints.

• Influence stakeholders without direct authority and communicate effectively with SMEs, vendors, team members, and leadership.

• Support communications, training, office hours, adoption tracking, and feedback loops for new processes and tools.

• Promote an inclusive environment where stakeholders can raise concerns and contribute ideas.

Analytics, Reporting & Visualization

• Design and maintain leadership-ready Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and operational reports using appropriate data modeling and DAX.

• Develop metrics covering intake volume, request type/source, cycle time, response time, backlog, aging, throughput, closure rate, workload distribution, SLA performance, and delivery health.

• Validate reporting data quality and investigate discrepancies.

• Translate operational data into actionable insights and recommendations.

• Present information clearly and concisely to operational teams and senior leadership.

Automation, Innovation & Technology Enablement

• Identify repetitive, manual, or error-prone processes that can be simplified or automated.

• Evaluate existing enterprise tools and technologies before introducing new solutions.

• Leverage Azure DevOps, Power Automate, Power BI, and related Microsoft technologies to improve operational efficiency.

• Identify opportunities to automate intake, notifications, approvals, reporting, and workflow processes.

• Partner with technical teams to implement scalable and sustainable automation solutions.

Required Experience

• 8+ years of experience in business process analysis, delivery management, project coordination, PMO, business analysis, or related roles.

• Strong hands-on experience administering and managing Azure DevOps Boards.

• Experience working with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery methodologies.

• Experience managing enterprise-level intake, portfolio tracking, and delivery governance.

• Strong experience creating SOPs, process maps, RACI matrices, workflows, and governance documentation.

• Hands-on experience with Power BI, data modeling, and DAX.

• Experience identifying and implementing process automation opportunities.

• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Ability to work effectively across technical, business, data, and leadership teams.

Educational Qualifications

• Engineering Degree BE / ME / BTech / MTech / BSc / MSc.

• Technical certifications in relevant technologies are desirable.
