School Psychologist

About the Role The School Psychologist will play a crucial role in supporting the mental health and educational success of elementary students in Buckeye, AZ. Responsibilities Assist in identifying appropriate interventions including those related to crisis, school-wide, regular classroom, special education classrooms, and individual students. Provide consultation to district and school administration, individual staff members, parents, community and specific programs within the district. Provide psychological evaluations and expertise to the Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET) process in determining eligibility and specific programming needs of students. Qualifications Experience as School Psychologist Experience in individual and group counseling Federal and State Exceptional Student Laws Required Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents Expertise in psychological assessment and intervention strategies Preferred Skills Experience with diverse student populations Knowledge of special education laws and regulations Pay range and compensation package Hours: Mon-Fri - 37.5 hours. Hours may vary based on schools. Contract duration: Aug 5th, 2026 - May 20, 2027.
