Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility based in Mount Kisco, NY 10459 . This is a long-term contract opportunity and a great way to work with a top-tier healthcare organization.

Job Details:

• Job Name: Medical Assistant
• Location: Mount Kisco , NY 10549
• Duration: 8+ months Contract
• Payrate: $21 - $23/hr. on W2 (Pay rate is based on experience and educational qualifications)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Responsibilities:

• Room patients according to established clinical protocols and prepare them for provider evaluation.
• Record vital signs, update patient history, and verify medications prior to provider interaction.
• Assist providers during patient visits to ensure efficient clinical workflow.
• Maintain accurate documentation within EMR systems, including Epic where applicable.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms between patient visits to ensure a safe and organized environment.
• Support overall patient flow and ensure timely movement of patients through the clinic.
• Provide professional and courteous patient interactions to enhance patient experience.

Must have qualifications/experience:

• High School, GED, or equivalent.
• Current, Medical Assistant Certification/ Registration (preferred, not required)
• Experience in a Neurology specialty (preferred, not required)
• Experience with EPIC (preferred, not required)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Neurology setting
• Familiarity with Epic EMR system
