Overview:
The Supervisor is responsible for supervising the activities of the room service staff. Their main concern is to ensure that guests are consistently serviced in a courteous, efficient and unobtrusive manner. The Supervisor will have full responsibility in the absence of Assistant Room Service Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure optimal performance in the day-to-day operation.
* Assist Room Service Manager and Assistant Room Service Manager in training of the staff.
* Check the waiters' orders and set-up.
* Control order load of the waiters.
* Assign waiters and service attendants duties.
* Check on tray and table removal.
* Establish and maintain cohesive and effective Associate relations.
* Inspect daily set-up, presentation and delivery of amenities.
* Handle the execution of the hospitality.
* Maintain guest contact.
* Conduct administrative work requirements.
* Performs related duties and special projects.
* Provides functional assistance and directions to the Room Service operation.
* Ensure work area is clean and clear of standing water, debris or any objects that can obstruct the job duties from being performed safely, efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
* Good communication skills both written and verbal
* Enthusiastic and friendly with a positive attitude
* Must have previous food and beverage experience in fine dining or hotel
* Room Service experience is preferred
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule including AM & PM shifts, weekends and holidays
* Minimum high school diploma
* Must have TIPS Certification & food certification.
