PHLEBOTOMIST, WEST BEND HOSPITAL

Location: US:WI:WEST BEND at our Froedtert West Bend Hospital facility. This job is ON - SITE. FTE: 0.200. Standard Hours: 8.00. Eligible for sign-on bonus up to $1,000. Shift: 1st. Shift details: Weekends only (Saturday and Sunday) every other week. Shifts will be either 0500-1330 or 1330-2200. Job Summary Responsible for performing phlebotomy and various technical, non‑technical, and clerical functions. Experience Completion of an approved phlebotomy program or related health care experience including direct patient contact is required. Phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 venipunctures is preferred. Education High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Licensure ASCP certification is preferred. Special Skills Ability to read and write necessary to comprehend and follow equipment operating instructions, IFUs and complete required documentation. Basic arithmetic calculations necessary to count instruments and complete count sheets are required. Basic computer, problem‑solving and good communication skills are required.
