Those stories are part of what makes this such a special place to work.Job OverviewThe Associate, Digital New Business Development & Operations supports the identification, evaluation, and execution of new digital retail initiatives that drive future growth. This role applies strong analytical and collaborative skills to assess early-stage concepts, contribute to business development efforts, and support the day-to-day operations of emerging ventures.Working cross-functionally, the Associate partners with stakeholders across digital strategy, business development, and operations to advance new initiatives and improve execution. The role offers broad exposure to key areas of the business while providing opportunities to expand responsibilities and grow professionally over time.What You Will DoSupport the identification and evaluation of new digital retail opportunities through market research, trend analysis, and competitive insights.Assist in developing business cases, financial models, and go-to-market strategies for emerging initiatives.Partner with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, product, finance, and technology, to advance key projects and initiatives.Support the launch, execution, and day-to-day operations of new digital ventures.Monitor performance metrics and KPIs, identify trends, and recommend opportunities for optimization.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business planning and decision-making.Document processes, tools, and best practices to enable scalable and repeatable execution.Prepare presentations, updates, and reporting materials for internal stakeholders and leadership teams.Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities. In addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assigned.Skills You Will NeedBusiness & Financial Acumen: Ability to develop business cases, build financial models, analyze budgets and forecasts, and evaluate the commercial viability of new digital ventures.Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, performance metrics, and KPIs to identify opportunities and support data-driven decision-making.Digital Commerce Knowledge: Understanding of ecommerce, digital retail, marketplace business models, and the factors that drive online growth and customer engagement.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to partner effectively with stakeholders across merchandising, marketing, product, finance, and technology to deliver business objectives.Project & Operational Management: Ability to support the launch, execution, and ongoing operations of new initiatives while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strategic Thinking: Capability to evaluate new opportunities, assess risks and benefits, and contribute to go-to-market strategies that support business growth.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create presentations, deliver updates, and influence stakeholders at all levels.Stakeholder Management: Ability to build relationships, gain alignment, and effectively navigate competing priorities across diverse business partners.Process Improvement & Documentation: Ability to document processes, identify operational efficiencies, and establish scalable, repeatable ways of working.Entrepreneurial Mindset: Demonstrates curiosity, adaptability, and a bias for action while contributing to early-stage concepts, experimentation, and innovation.Who You AreCandidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply. MBA preferred. 5-plus years of experience in digital retail, eCommerce, new business incubation, or corporate innovation.This role involves performing essential job functions such as communication, collaboration, and use of office and computer systems.
