Job Summary: Responsible for proper running of parts through machines in accordance to safety procedures. Essential Functions time: 7am-3:30pm Pay DOE 19.00-20.00 Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Performs typical press operations to support production with special attention to following ALL safety protocols.
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the plant manager.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to perform the tasks stated above.
- Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of reading calipers, dial or digital.
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers, use simple math, and use basic hand held measuring tools.
- Must be able to perform basic set-ups on these machines and the tools that are used in them.
