Technical Delivery Manager

Insight Global is looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Manager for one of our top financial services clients. This individual will be joining an established Financial Technology team within the Enterprise Risk and Finance Technology space. The Technical Delivery Manager is responsible for leading the delivery, support, and continuous improvement of critical financial technology platforms and sub-ledger applications that support enterprise banking operations. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background with prior hands-on software development experience and a deep understanding of application architecture, software development lifecycle (SDLC), integration patterns, and enterprise delivery practices. This individual must be capable of engaging at a detailed technical level with engineering teams while providing leadership, governance, prioritization, and executive communication across multiple programs and applications.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, applications development, technology delivery, or IT leadership roles.
Prior hands-on experience as a software developer, software engineer, or programmer with a strong understanding of coding practices and software architecture.
Experience leading delivery of enterprise-scale financial, accounting, banking, or sub-ledger applications.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and release management processes.
Experience managing cross-functional technical teams and complex technology initiatives.
Strong understanding of application integrations, APIs, databases, middleware, and distributed systems.
Experience working within highly regulated environments such as banking, financial services, insurance, or similar industries.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at both technical and executive levels.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
