Laboratory Specimen Processor- Full Time- 2nd Shift

Specimen Accessioner/ProcessorLabCorp is seeking a Specimen Accessioner/Processor to join our team at LabCorp Oklahoma in Tulsa, OK.Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 3pm - 11:30pm. 2nd Shift differential.Job Responsibilities:Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testingUnpack and route specimens to their respective staging areasAccurately identify and label specimensPack and ship specimens to proper testing facilitiesMeet department activity and production goalsProperly prepare and store excess specimen samplesData entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerResolve and document any problem specimensMinimum Qualification:High School Diploma or GED equivalentPreferred Qualification:Current or prior Labcorp experience1 year or more of experience in a lab or specimen processing1 year or more of experience in a medical/clinical laboratory environment1 year or more of experience in the healthcare industry, such as a physician's office, clinic or hospital1 year of experience in an assembly or manufacturing production environmentAdditional Job Standards:Comfortable handling biological specimensAbility to accurately identify specimensExperience working in a team environmentStrong data entry and organizational skillsHigh level of attention to detailProficient in MS OfficeAble to lift up to 40lbs.Able to pass a standardized color blindness testBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
