Warehouse Specialist

Position: Warehouse Specialist Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p THE POSITION Shipment Verification and Preparation: Compare shipment information against records (bills of lading, invoices, orders, etc.). Determine shipment methods based on time constraints and customer needs. Pick, pack, and prepare packages for shipping. Receiving and Inspection Unpack and inspect incoming shipments for damage and compliance. Report damaged items to purchasing. Inventory and Equipment Management Maintain warehouse inventory, including materials and supplies. Perform equipment cleaning, inventory counts, and basic maintenance. Assist clinicians with locating and preparing equipment and supplies. Customer and Staff Support Deliver equipment to patients as needed (in certain locations). Train staff on warehouse operations as required. Interact with customers and clients professionally and effectively. General Warehouse Duties Assemble or select appropriate containers for shipments. Maintain necessary paperwork and records. Ensure outgoing shipments meet specifications. REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license with a clean record (if assisting with deliveries). Basic math and computation skills. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Preferred Previous warehouse experience is a plus. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
