About the job Data Entry Operator - Remote About the Position To be successful as a data entry operator, you must be familiar with various computer programs such as Excel, Outlook and related business applications. You must also have the ability to understand the relationship between different types of data and the ability to examine that data for errors. Strong typing skills and attention to detail are required. Essential Functions prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry and northern customs. check source documents for accuracy verify data and correct where necessary obtain additional information for incomplete documents update data and delete unnecessary files combine and reorder source document data where necessary enter data from source documents into the prescribed database, files and computer forms transcribe information into the required electronic format scan documents into document management systems or databases checking the accuracy of the work performed storing completed documents in designated locations responding to requests for information and accessing relevant files print information when required Other duties Comply with all company policies, including human resources, security and department policies. Assist the team leader and/or billing supervisor with other miscellaneous duties as needed Requirements Ability to write quickly and accurately, with few spelling mistakes and few errors. Good command of English (both oral and written) Ability to spell well Ability to work alone Strong attention to detail Strong organizational skills Ability to stay focused and concentrate on task Working knowledge of basic office equipment and computer hardware Working knowledge of email and telephone communication Ability to communicate effectively with others Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment Willingness to take direction from others Good work ethic #J-18808-Ljbffr
