Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

Post Exposure Licensed Practical Nurse PRNWorks as a Per Diem employee on an on-call schedule, including day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. Travels to various client locations to provide treatment for exposures, including patient counseling, blood draws, and medication administration when indicated. Follows policies and procedures to reduce risk. Functions within a team while remaining confident when working independently. Interacts professionally with all clients and co-workers. Accurately documents in electronic medical records (EMR) in a timely manner. Supports the department in assisting with the operation of the Post Exposure Nurse (PEN) Program. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to work independently and properly manage time.Exceptional customer service & telephone etiquette.Proficiency in EMR use and Microsoft Office.Strong venipuncture skills.Ability to maintain clinical hygiene and specimen integrity in varying nontraditional settings.Education:Technical/Vocational School [Required]Field of Study:LPNWork Experience:Occupational and/or employee health experience [Preferred]HIV Counseling. [Preferred]Licenses and Certifications:Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) [Required]Driver's License (DL) [Required]Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
