Retail Lead Associate (Reduced-Time), Customer Experience Operations

Compensation and Schedule Pay starts at $22.40 per hour with benefits available. This role offers reduced-time hours, averaging 30-39 hours per week, and requires open availability Tuesday–Saturday between 3:45 pm and 10:15 pm. Job Description As a Retail Lead Associate, you will be the face of Amazon, contributing to a culture based on customer obsession, trust, respect, integrity, continuous learning, and fun. You will assist with customer service operations and floor leader responsibilities. Responsibilities Interact with customers using effective engagement strategies and model desired behavior for the rest of the team. Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and count product. Provide peer‑to‑peer feedback on processes and standards, serving as the escalation point to assist associate peers in solving customer issues where appropriate. Contribute to continuous improvement of the customer experience and operations by developing best practices. Help identify and communicate barriers and trends that affect customer and associate experience, supporting the manager in building strong site culture. Work with a manager to maintain the physical safety and quality standards of the site. Perform in a fast‑changing and ambiguous environment. Perform additional duties as assigned. Show flexibility with hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Lift up to 49 pounds and stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb, and descend stairs during shifts lasting up to 12 hours. About the Team The Customer Experience Operations (CXO) organization specializes in delighting customers with quality service at dedicated retail locations, ensuring convenient pickup and return of packages. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Age 18 or older. At least 1 year of retail or customer‑facing experience, floor leader experience, or Amazon Blue Badge/FTE experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience training others.
