Manager, Corporate Transactions Group - FDD

Manager – Corporate Transactions Group (CTG) Join Alvarez & Marsal’s Corporate Transactions Group, where you will oversee the operational and execution aspects of the M&A life cycle. You will collaborate with a high‑performing team to provide Integrated Due Diligence and operational insights to corporate and private‑equity clients across a wide range of industries. Responsibilities People : Counsel and mentor CTG associates and senior associates; develop and teach training courses; manage engagement risk; coordinate conflict checks and develop engagement codes. Project Management (Financial Due Diligence) : Manage and prioritize engagements; lean toward maximizing client value; lead the financial due diligence process (quality of earnings, working‑capital analysis, debt analysis, financial statement analysis, and operational analytics); prepare agendas, conduct client conversations, build databooks, coordinate with other service groups, delegate work, review colleagues’ output, and produce final reports. Clients, Markets & Services : Assist senior leaders with sales and business development; demonstrate deep knowledge of CTG services; pursue or strengthen industry or sector expertise. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of financial accounting due diligence experience at a top accounting firm. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or a related major. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent. Working knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and purchase accounting. High proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; articulate to senior stakeholders and clients. Strong project management skills. Flexibility to work both collaboratively and independently. Willingness to travel for project and internal needs. Ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments. Benefits and Compensation Base salary: $160,000 annually (varies by education, experience, skills, and geography). A discretionary bonus program tied to individual and firm performance.
