$103.24k - $171.04kFederal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
The position advertised has been exempted from the federal civilian hiring freeze. The FBI’s Advanced Special Agent Training (ASAT) builds on your federal experience, fast‑tracing you to become an FBI special agent in just nine weeks — all while maintaining the rigorous standards the FBI is known for. The ASAT immerses you in Bureau‑specific tradecraft, policy, and intelligence, equipping you to lead criminal investigations that protect homeland security. As a result, current 1811s can achieve accelerated career advancement without compromising the quality and discipline the FBI requires. The FBI matches your dedication, offering professional growth, a supportive work environment, and benefits that include: an expedited hiring process and onboarding; a match to the highest previous rate up to GS‑12 Step 10; guaranteed field office placement in one of your top three choice locations, and more.
