divh2Hydro Operator/h2pAtlas Tube, a subsidiary of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Hydro Operator for our North Kansas City, MO facility. This role is responsible for operating the Hydrotester, ensuring the quality of production, and maintaining safety compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and thrives in a team-oriented environment./ppShift: 3rd Shift 7:00 PM 5:30 AM Pay: $23.50 - $24.60 per hour plus Production Bonus/ph3What Youll Do/h3ulliOperates hydrotest machinery to ensure proper functionality./liliInputs grooving dimensions for quality assurance and maintains routine production records./liliOversees set-up and operation of robots./liliAssists hydro team members with grooving processes as needed./liliCommunicates with shippers regarding material needs at entry and inventory management at the exit end./liliPerforms preventative maintenance as necessary./liliMaintains a clean and organized work area at all times./liliSubmits detailed and accurate work orders for equipment issues that cannot be resolved by the operator or team members./liliSuccessfully completes On-the-Job Training (OJT) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) training./liliCross-trains others for the position and is open to cross-training in other roles./liliComplies with OSHA guidelines affecting machine operations, including Lockout/Tagout procedures./liliAttends all scheduled company and safety meetings./liliFollows and enforces company safety policies and best practices./liliDemonstrates teamwork and cooperation with other employees and supervisors./li/ulh3Who You Are/h3ulliBasic computer and mathematics knowledge./liliStrong verbal and written communication skills./liliSelf-motivated with problem-solving skills./liliAbility to maintain and document quality records./liliStrong safety orientation and mechanical comprehension./liliDetail-oriented, responsible, and achievement-driven./li/ulh3Physical Work Requirements/h3ulliRequired use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)./liliUse of various hand tools and equipment as needed./liliAbility to work occasional overtime./liliWarehouse environment with an uncontrolled climate year-round./liliExposure to a dusty and noisy work environment within OSHA guidelines./liliRegular exposure to moving mechanical parts./li/ulh3What Youll Get/h3pZekeelman Industries offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits, including low-cost, high-quality medical and dental benefits.
