The TCM Specialty Teams provide comprehensive TCM services to identified populations and report directly to the Program Director of TCM Specialty Teams. The role manages all care management operations, ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, regulations and laws, and offers mentoring, coaching, and training to TCM Specialty Team staff. Responsibilities Ensure strict compliance with DHHS TCM Manual, professional standards, IPRS/NC State, Federal Medicaid and Medicare regulations, agency policies and procedures, and provider requirements for TCM. Provide clinical direction and supervision to all members of the TCM Specialty Teams. Arrange and deliver in‑service training, including best practices, and participate in agency‑wide training programs. Monitor TCM performance measures and assure timely completion of paperwork, billing tickets and documentation. Collaborate with the Program Director to ensure that all regulatory standards are followed. Participate in the selection and hiring of TCM Specialty staff and perform other personnel actions as needed. Serve as liaison between the Program Director, the TCM Specialty Teams, center TCM teams, and other agency departments. Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor. Supervisory Responsibilities Provide supervision to clinical care managers, extenders (based on ratios in most current DHHS TCM Manual), and administrative oversight to support teams. Special Attributes Strong psychosocial and clinical assessment skills. Minimal supervision required regarding time management; able to prioritize work assignments. Excellent clinical skills and extensive knowledge base of mental health and substance abuse disorders. Excellent communication with professionals and clients/families. Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations. Qualification Requirements Highly motivated and resilient professional. Strong negotiation skills. Education and Experience Master’s level fully or provisionally licensed LCSW, LCMHC, LPA, LMFT or RN.
