Electrical Engineer
The Electrical Engineer will support electrical engineering activities for manufacturing equipment installations and plant expansion projects, including electrical planning, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and startup.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and support electrical systems for new equipment and plant expansion projects.
- Develop and review electrical layouts, schematics, one lines, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
- Coordinate electrical installation, wiring, and commissioning of industrial equipment.
- Support startup, troubleshooting, and turnover of equipment to operations.
- Work with contractors, vendors, maintenance, and operations to complete projects safely and effectively.
- Ensure electrical installations comply with NEC, NFPA 70E, and company standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience with electrical installation, commissioning, and startup.
- Understanding of low and medium voltage power systems.
- Experience with motors, VFDs, MCCs, control panels, and industrial electrical equipment.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Working knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E.
