We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing team.Job OverviewWe are looking for a full-time Pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality occupational therapy services to children from infancy through adolescence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric occupational therapy and a passion for working with children and their families. This role requires excellent clinical skills, creativity, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children's developmental, sensory, motor, and functional skillsDevelop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and collaborate with families to set appropriate goalsProvide direct occupational therapy interventions to address identified needs and improve functional outcomesImplement evidence-based practices and stay current with the latest research and techniques in pediatric occupational therapyAddress fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and self-care skillsCollaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and specialists to ensure comprehensive careEducate and train parents, caregivers, and other team members on therapeutic techniques and strategiesMaintain accurate and detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notesParticipate in team meetings and contribute to the development of interdisciplinary treatment plansProvide recommendations for adaptive equipment and assistive technology as neededConduct home and school visits to assess and address environmental factors affecting a child's performanceDevelop and implement group therapy sessions as appropriateMentor and supervise occupational therapy assistants and students as neededParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the ongoing development of the occupational therapy programQualificationsRequired:Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited programCurrent state licensure as an Occupational TherapistMinimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric occupational therapyProficiency in conducting pediatric assessments and developing treatment plansStrong knowledge of child development, sensory integration, and pediatric conditionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environmentProficiency in electronic medical record systems and documentationCurrent CPR certificationPreferred:Additional certifications in specialized areas such as sensory integration, feeding therapy, or assistive technologyExperience working in diverse settings, including outpatient clinics, schools, and home healthBilingual
