Job Summary
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Not specified. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a 12-hour night shift setting within an intermediate care environment. The RN will manage a mix of medical-surgical, tele, cardiac, neuro, and cerebrovascular accident (CVA) patients, contributing to a collaborative team committed to quality patient outcomes and education support.

Job Details

• Position Description: 12-hour night shifts in the IMCU, managing a diverse patient population including neuro and CVA cases, with a focus on charge responsibilities.
• Required Qualifications: Active VA or Compact RN license, minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, and experience with Cerner preferred.
• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Orientation occurs every other Monday. Prior travel experience is required for all Centra positions. All requested time off must be included with the submission, and federal holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years Day must be worked if scheduled. The unit follows a flexible weekend rotation, typically with 2-3 weekends per month, based on unit needs. The facility can cancel assignments up to 36 hours prior due to census fluctuations.
