Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Women’s Health Medical Assistant to join our Gynecologic Oncology team! Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers: Beautiful state-of-the-art integrated Cancer and Women's Centers Location: Gilbert, Arizona - travel to other locations required What You’ll Do: Assist in pre- and post-operative care for gynecology patients Prepare exam rooms and surgical instruments Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, strong understanding of sterile techniques. Must possess excellent sterile technique. Support minor in-office procedures and wound care; specimen collection Coordinate patient education and follow-up appointments Maintain accurate medical records and documentation; process referrals as needed Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned including chart prep, scheduling, data entry, phone calls, and patient registration What We’re Looking For: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)- **Only candidates who currently hold a valid Medical Assistant certification or the ability to obtain w/in 90 days will be considered*** Experience in surgical or women’s health settings highly preferred 1-2 years of MA experience in a fast-paced setting Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills Compassionate, team-oriented, and adaptable personality EMR experience and computer proficiency a plus Positive, professional attitude with a team-first mindset and a passion for oncology care Why Join Us?
