Job Summary

Summary: Join our team as a Concession Stand Worker and help create an outstanding game-day experience for fans at UW-Madison Badger sporting events . In this fast-paced, high-energy role, you will provide excellent customer service, process transactions, prepare food and beverages, and uphold strict sanitation and safety standards-all while contributing to a fun and energetic atmosphere. Anticipated start date in June.

Key Responsibilities:

Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring all purchases are properly recorded in the point-of-sale system.
Deliver friendly, professional customer service and address questions, concerns, or complaints promptly and courteously.
Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with quality, safety, and presentation standards.
Restock food, beverages, and condiments as needed while maintaining a clean, organized concession stand.
Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations , including ServSafe and alcohol service requirements.
Maintain accurate inventory levels and follow established inventory control procedures throughout events.
Serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines .
Assist with additional tasks as assigned to ensure smooth and efficient event operations.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age .
Willingness to obtain Responsible Alcohol ServSafe certification & Food Handler's ServSafe if not currently certified.
Ability to stand for extended periods during events.
Ability to lift and carry 25-45 pounds for stocking and setup.
Must be available to work all UW-Madison football games and the majority of events at the Kohl Center Arena.
