Cherry Picker Greensboro, NC 27409 Employment Type: Contract to Perm Job Number: 63123958 Pay Rate: $18.50 / hour Job Title: Cherry Picker Location: Kernersville Shift: 1st shift 7 am to 3:30 pm Pay: $17.00 Shift: 3rd 11:00pm to 7:00am Pay: $18.50 Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations by safely operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts. This position is responsible for moving, loading, unloading, staging, and organizing materials while maintaining accuracy, productivity, and a clean work environment. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse or production area. Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers while ensuring products are handled safely and accurately. Move pallets, raw materials, finished goods, and supplies to designated storage, staging, shipping, or production areas. Perform daily forklift inspections and report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or needed repairs to a supervisor. Use RF scanners, paperwork, or warehouse systems to verify inventory, product locations, and shipment accuracy. Stack, wrap, label, and stage products according to company procedures. Follow all company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, traffic rules, and proper material handling procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area. Assist with inventory counts, order picking, shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties as needed. Qualifications: Previous forklift operating experience required, including sit-down and stand-up forklift operation. Ability to safely operate equipment in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment. Forklift certification preferred; must be able to complete company forklift training and certification if required. Ability to read and follow work instructions, shipping paperwork, labels, and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed. Comfortable working in a warehouse or production environment with moving equipment, varying temperatures, and moderate noise levels. Must be able to follow all PPE and safety requirements.
