Role Description The Associate Chair is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Tampa, FL, supporting the leadership development and peer advisory work of C12 business forums. This role assists the Chair in facilitating monthly peer group meetings, preparing agendas and materials, and following up on member action plans and commitments. The Associate Chair provides one‑on‑one support to member CEOs and business owners, helping them apply C12’s framework to strategic planning, accountability, and faith integration in their businesses. Daily responsibilities include managing member communications, coordinating events and logistics, conducting business and market research to inform discussions, and tracking member engagement and outcomes. The role also contributes to outreach and member acquisition efforts, builds relationships with local business leaders and churches, and collaborates with the broader C12 team to refine programs and resources. Qualifications Strong leadership, coaching, and facilitation skills to support peer groups of business owners and senior executives. Business acumen with experience in areas such as strategic planning, operations, finance, or organizational development. Excellent communication skills, including clear speaking, active listening, and professional writing for reports and correspondence. Relationship‑building and networking abilities, with a track record of engaging community partners, business leaders, or faith‑based organizations. Organizational and time‑management skills to coordinate multiple meetings, follow‑ups, and member initiatives. Comfort with basic technology tools, including productivity software, presentation tools, and online collaboration platforms. Demonstrated alignment with Christian values and a desire to serve Christian business leaders in integrating faith and work. Prior experience in executive coaching, consulting, ministry leadership, or peer advisory groups is highly beneficial.
