CAD DraftsmanStaff on Site is currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CAD Draftsman to join our customer's innovative design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and 3D models that translate conceptual ideas into detailed construction documents. Your expertise will support architectural, engineering, and construction projects by ensuring accurate representation of designs, compliance with building codes, and seamless integration with BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while honing your skills in advanced CAD software and design techniques.Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per yearResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks to accurately depict project specifications.Create comprehensive construction detail documentation that adheres to industry standards and building code requirements.Utilize BIM tools like Revit and Rhino 3D to facilitate building information modeling, ensuring efficient project coordination and data sharing.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to produce schematics, layouts, and design concepts that meet project goals.Perform building code analysis to verify compliance and identify potential design issues early in the process.Support interior design projects through drafting, graphic design, and 3D modeling using SketchUp, Grasshopper 3D, 3 ds Max, or similar software.Assist in the development of construction documents that include technical specifications, annotations, and details necessary for successful project execution.ExperienceProven experience working with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros), ArchiCAD, MicroStation or SolidWorks in a professional environment.Strong background in construction detail documentation and construction experience across various building types.Familiarity with building code standards and building information modeling (BIM) tools for efficient project delivery.Demonstrated ability to perform building code analysis and ensure designs meet regulatory requirements.Experience in interior design or graphic design is a plus, along with skills in 2D animation or visual presentation techniques.Knowledge of engineering CAD design principles combined with proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software for accurate visualization.RequirementsAutoCad (Required)SoftPlan (Preferred)Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to transforming ideas into reality through innovative drafting solutions!
