Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation Nursing Opportunity

Provide specialized inpatient rehabilitation nursing care to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Deliver compassionate, personalized support to promote optimal recovery and functioning.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor medications, IV therapy, and other treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals, procedures, and care needs.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in the medical documentation system.
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment such as IV pumps, specialty beds, and lift devices.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications:

• Possess an active RN license recognized in North Carolina or applicable state.
• Demonstrate 2+ years of nursing experience, with preference for rehab or med-surg background.
• Hold current BLS certification; additional specialty certifications preferred.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends, with flexibility for floating as needed.
• Knowledge of Meditech documentation system and rehabilitation procedures.
