Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in Benton, IL. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in inpatient hospital settings preferred.
• Client-specific requirements: ability to work in acute care, ICU, PCU, step-down, medical/surgical, and acute rehab settings as needed; experience with NIHSS may be required for several units; ACLS and PALS may be required for certain emergency and ICU settings. These items are client-specific and may be required depending on the unit.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with acute neurological assessments and stroke scales preferred.

Assignment Details

• 4x10-hour shifts per week.
• Schedule includes a mix of two weekday shifts and two weekend shifts; flexibility on shift may be required.
• Role may require floating between hospital units as needed.
