A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to guarantee high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, including: Planning each shift Monitoring performance during the shift Taking action to maintain McDonald’s standards Monitoring safety, security, and profitability Communicating with the next Shift Manager to facilitate smooth transitions Helping their assigned departments meet departmental goals Meeting targets during their shifts Qualifications Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
