Job Title

Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Location

San Antonio, TX | Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Flexibility required for 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts based on lab needs (lab hours 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Independently monitor Afib/Aflutter ablation cases — required for all candidates
• Scrub Afib/Aflutter Ablations and Permanent Pacemakers (PPM) — required for all candidates
• Perform and assist with a broad range of procedures including LHC, CHC, PCI, Watchman, Impella, Balloon Pumps, Peripheral cases, Thrombectomies, and IR cases (perma-cath, PEG tubes)
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within a 4-room CCL/EP Lab environment using Siemens and Philips imaging equipment and EMR systems including Meditech, Cardio Lab, and Mac Lab
• Float between EP Lab and Cath Lab as needed based on daily case volume and unit needs
• Participate in on-call rotation on weekends and remain flexible to stay until cases are completed, including late evening hours

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (or compact license eligibility for Texas)
• RCIS or RCES certification required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab experience
• Ability to independently monitor and scrub Afib/Aflutter ablation cases — candidates without this skill will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Dual competency in both CCL and EP Lab settings
• Ability to transition between EP and Cath Lab cases including Ablations, PPM, Watchman, LHC, CHC, and PCI
• Experience with Siemens and/or Philips imaging equipment
• Familiarity with Meditech, Cardio Lab, or Mac Lab EMR platforms
