Richmond Mitsubishi is seeking an experienced and motivated Parts & Service Manager to lead our Fixed Operations team. We are looking for a hands-on leader who understands dealership operations, knows how to build a strong team, and is focused on providing an exceptional customer experience while driving department profitability.

The ideal candidate will have automotive dealership experience and the ability to successfully oversee both the Service and Parts Departments .

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Service and Parts Departments
• Lead, train, motivate, and hold service and parts employees accountable
• Ensure customers receive professional, timely, and high-quality service
• Monitor department sales, gross profit, expenses, productivity, and overall profitability
• Work to achieve and maintain strong CSI/customer satisfaction scores
• Manage technician productivity, efficiency, scheduling, and workflow
• Ensure repair orders are written accurately and completed in a timely manner
• Monitor warranty claims and ensure manufacturer policies and procedures are followed
• Maintain appropriate parts inventory levels and oversee ordering and inventory control
• Monitor parts obsolescence, special orders, returns, and inventory accuracy
• Establish and track department goals and performance expectations
• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally
• Ensure proper communication between technicians, service advisors, parts personnel, sales staff, and management
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional work environment
• Ensure compliance with dealership and Mitsubishi policies and procedures
• Identify opportunities to increase customer retention, service sales, and department profitability

Qualifications

• Previous automotive dealership Service Manager, Parts Manager, Fixed Operations Manager, or similar management experience preferred
• Mitsubishi dealership experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Knowledge of dealership service and parts operations
• Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and terminology
• Ability to analyze department performance, gross profit, expenses, and productivity
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
